Gateway Childrens Services is committed to helping any person with a drug or alcohol use problem in Waco and its surrounding areas find complete recovery. It provides several services - such as detox programs, inpatient drug abuse treatment, short term addiction treatment facilities, intensive outpatient treatment, long term treatment programs and others - in line with its philosophy of the recovery treatment and rehabilitation modalities that are effective in recovery. This addiction treatment program also believes that clients need individual treatment and care to be able to maintain their sobriety.
As such, Gateway Childrens Services has specialized in dialectical behavior therapy, group therapy, cognitive/behavior therapy, couple/family therapy, substance abuse counseling approach, cognitive/behavior therapy and more. At the same time, it accepts clients who are persons with serious mental illness, legal advocacy, co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, clients with HIV/AIDS, child care for clients children, clients referred from the court/judicial system, and others. This drug and alcohol treatment program uses treatment methods that can help clients to achieve lasting and permanent sobriety from the substances of abuse that they have used in the past.
In terms of payment, clients in Gateway Childrens Services can pay for services using cash or self-payment, private medical insurance, military insurance, medicaid, medicare, state education funds, state welfare or child and family services funds and others.
