List of Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Treatment Programs In Magalia, California

Who Needs Inpatient Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation in Magalia, California?

Inpatient drug and alcohol rehab centers in Magalia are ideal for many people with substance use disorders. However, they tend to be more effective for addicts who are also struggling with co-occurring mental health issues. Such patients might require 24/7 care and medical supervision - which may not be available in an outpatient center.

In the same way, if you have participated in drug addiction treatment in the past through an outpatient facility or if you tried inpatient rehabilitation but were unsuccessful, then it is highly likely that you could benefit from a more extended stay in a residential treatment center.

Teens, in specific, also benefit from these centers because they usually have severe mental health issues co-occurring with their substance use disorders. As such, they may require treatment that deals with both issues before they can recover fully.

Disadvantages of Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab

Inpatient programs are offered in a variety of settings - including but not limited to mental health centers and hospitals. Others are luxury or executive models and may provide many amenities and options to make your journey to sobriety smoother.

However, you might not benefit from these programs if:

You feel that you will be separated from your loved ones, friends, social life, and work commitments for too long.

You think that the cost of rehabilitation at an inpatient alcohol and drug treatment facility in Magalia, CA. is too high for you to afford.

You would first like to try recovering through an outpatient program before you commit to residential drug addiction treatment.

However, in the majority of instances, inpatient drug and alcohol treatment tends to work successfully and has been proven time and time again to lead to better outcomes overall. This is why it is the most often recommended type of rehabilitation available for people looking for recovery after months or years of intensive alcohol and drug abuse and drug addiction. As long as you enroll in such a facility in good time, therefore, it is extremely likely that you will attain sobriety and abstinence much quicker.

VOTC Inc Visions of the Cross

Redding, CA. 96002

Visions of the Cross, Inc. was founded by Steve and Tammy Lucarelli. With first-hand knowledge of the challenges facing people in recovery and the limited community resources available to meet those needs, Steve and Tammy's own recovery journey led them to open Visions' first sober transitional living home in 2001. By 2005, Visions of the Cross, Inc. had grown to 12 sober transitional living homes in the Redding area; adding another 4 homes in 2007. Since opening, Visions has provided alcohol- and drug-free housing for hundreds of men and women including women with children. Over 290 women have given birth to healthy babies while residing in the safety of Vision's perinatal residential program or transitional housing. In October of 2008, Visions added a California State licensed and certified residential treatment facility for womenand women with children. The next month, Visions of the Cross became licensed and certified to provide outpatient treatment to both men and women. Also, Visions received approval as a Drug Medi-Cal outpatient provider. Recognizing a need for an intermediate level of care, the following year Visions created an Adult Maintenance Program (AMP) for both men and women. The AMP combines outpatient treatment for substance use disorders with secure, sober transitional housing; providing important safety and structure for participants. Today, Visions maintains an unique 2.4 acre recovery campus with two suburban-style cul-de-sacs, one for women's substance use disorder residential treatment and the other for sober transitional housing, plus four off-campus sober-living facilities for men. In all, Visions has a capacity to house 160 residents. Our experienced, professional staff includes a Medical Director, a Clinical Supervisor, licensed Therapists and Interns, along with skilled, certified, substance abuse Counselors. For those who request it, Visions of the Cross also has pastoral counselling available to meet the spiritual needs of clients. Looking towards the future, Visions expects to begin accepting clients for its long-awaited, licensed and certified men's residential treatment program in the summer of 2018.
