Talbot House has made a name for itself by dedicating its addiction services to the individuals who struggle with drug and alcohol use disorders in Wyandanch and within the surrounding neighborhoods.
Services are offered on an individualized basis to make sure clients find full recovery in the long term. Talbot House also specializes in activity therapy, couple/family therapy, 12-step facilitation approach, motivational interviewing, vocational rehabilitation services, group therapy, and others - as well as other treatment methods such as persons with post-traumatic stress disorder, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, clients with HIV/AIDS, substance abuse education, social skills development, treatment for spanish-speaking clients, and more.
Additionally, Talbot House has programs such as outpatient detox programs, inpatient drug and alcohol rehabs, outpatient substance abuse treatment services, long term drug rehab centers, short term treatment programs for verifiable addictions to alcohol and drugs. The addiction treatment center uses treatment modalities that can provide lasting stability to any person with an alcohol and drug abuse issue. Finally, Talbot House accepts individuals with different kinds of payment methods - including private medical insurance, private pay, medicaid, medicare, sliding fee scale, state corrections or juvenile justice funds, state education funds and others.
