Talbot House has made a name for itself by dedicating its recovery services to the individuals who struggle with drug and alcohol abuse disorders in the Holbrook area.
Programs are offered on an individual basis to make sure clients find full recovery in the long term. Talbot House also specializes in group therapy, cognitive/behavior therapy, cognitive/behavior therapy, relapse prevention, contingency management/motivational incentive, matrix model, and others - as well as many other treatment methods such as clients referred from the court/judicial system, transgender or (LGBT) clients, self-help groups, seniors or older adults, housing services, treatment for spanish-speaking clients, and more.
Additionally, Talbot House has programs such as inpatient drug addiction treatment, long term drug treatment, outpatient counseling, detoxification programs, short term treatment centers for clients with addictions to drugs and alcohol. The addiction treatment program uses treatment modalities that can provide lasting stability to any person with a substance use problem. Finally, Talbot House accepts clients with different types of payment methods - including private health insurance, cash or self-payment, sliding fee scale, military insurance, state welfare or child and family services funds, state education funds and others.
