First Step Center is known for dedicating its addiction services to the individuals who struggle with alcohol and drug abuse issues in the Grand Island area.
Services are provided on an individual basis to make sure people achieve full recovery in the long term. First Step Center has also specialized in brief intervention approach, anger management, dual diagnosis drug rehab, group therapy, individual psychotherapy, group therapy, and others - as well as many other treatment modalities such as seniors or older adults, persons with eating disorders, programs for the hearing impaired, suicide prevention services, legal advocacy, persons with serious mental illness, and more.
Additionally, First Step Center has programs such as inpatient drug treatment, long term rehab centers, intensive outpatient treatment, detox facilities, short term rehab programs for clients with addictions to alcohol and drugs. The drug and alcohol rehab uses treatment modalities that can provide lasting and permanent stability to anyone with an alcohol and drug use problem. Finally, First Step Center accepts clients with different kinds of payment methods - including private health insurance, cash or self-payment, military insurance, sliding fee scale, other state funds, state welfare or child and family services funds and others.
