VA Hudson Valley HCS is committed to helping anyone with an alcohol or drug abuse problem in the local community find complete recovery. It offers several services - such as inpatient detox programs, outpatient substance abuse treatment services, inpatient rehab facilities, long term treatment programs, short term drug rehab programs and others - in line with its philosophy of the recovery treatment and rehabilitation modalities that work in recovery. This alcohol and drug rehab program also believes that clients require individual treatment and care to be able to stop abusing drugs and alcohol.
As such, VA Hudson Valley HCS specializes in substance abuse counseling approach, 12-step facilitation approach, dialectical behavior therapy, group therapy, anger management, behavior modification and more. At the same time, it accepts clients who are self-help groups, clients referred from the court/judicial system, treatment for spanish-speaking clients, transgender or (LGBT) clients, persons with eating disorders, clients with HIV/AIDS, and others. This drug and alcohol rehab program uses care methods that can assist patients to maintain sobriety and abstinence from the substances of abuse that they have used in the past.
