First Step Counseling is dedicated to helping the residents of Mascoutah, Illinois and the surrounding areas to getting their sobriety back after battling with alcohol and drug addiction. As such, First Step Counseling provides a wide variety of services in line with their philosophy of treatments that work - including outpatient hospital programs, outpatient detox programs, short term addiction treatment centers, inpatient drug rehab facilities, long term addiction treatment centers and others.
First Step Counseling also feels that it is vital that every individual gets uniquely tailored treatment to ensure their recovery. This is why it is specialized in a wide variety of treatment modalities, including dialectical behavior therapy, vocational rehabilitation services, anger management, couple/family therapy, group therapy, cognitive/behavior therapy and others. In addition, First Step Counseling is specialized in suicide prevention services, seniors or older adults, persons with post-traumatic stress disorder, housing services, self-help groups, aftercare/continuing care, as well as other special programs. In general, the treatment services that this drug and alcohol treatment facility uses strive to achieve true and lasting sobriety for each of its clients.
