South Suburban Council on is devoted to assisting the people of Glenwood and the surrounding areas to getting their sobriety back after battling with alcohol and drug addiction. As such, South Suburban Council on administers a wide collection of services in line with their belief of treatments that work - including long term treatment facilities, detoxification centers, short term rehab facilities, outpatient day treatment, inpatient treatment facilities and others.
South Suburban Council on also believes that it is necessary that every individual client gets uniquely tailored treatment to ensure their recovery. This is why it is specialized in a wide variety of treatment methods, including substance abuse counseling approach, dialectical behavior therapy, trauma therapy, vocational rehabilitation services, cognitive/behavior therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy and others. Additionally, South Suburban Council on is specialized in substance abuse education, transgender or (LGBT) clients, suicide prevention services, clients referred from the court/judicial system, housing services, persons with serious mental illness, as well as other special programs. In general, the treatment services that this addiction treatment program uses strive to achieve true and lasting sobriety for each of its clients.
