List of Outpatient Addiction Treatment Facilities In East Peoria, Illinois

Understanding Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Treatment Facilities in East Peoria, Illinois

While struggling with drug abuse, you might decide to seek treatment. This means that you should review all of your options for addiction treatment and rehabilitation.

Depending on the specifics and circumstances of your substance abuse, you might decide on medically managed detox or even choose inpatient drug and alcohol rehab. However, many addicts find that they are best suited to attend an outpatient addiction treatment facility.

Although most of the treatment options listed above - inpatient care and detox - are constructed to treat substance abuse through different stages of recovery, you will usually find that outpatient drug rehabilitation often comes as the last step that you should take in the full continuum of rehabilitation and care.

When you enroll in an outpatient addiction treatment center, you will still be able to continue living at home. At the same time, however, it will be mandatory to participate in your addiction treatment at certain hours.

Through this form of treatment in East Peoria, you may retain greater freedom in your journey to recovery. This means that you may still be able to continue your job as well as continue taking care of your daily responsibilities to family, friends, and your social life.

When you begin one of these programs, however, you may benefit from taking a moment every day meeting with clinical staff and therapists.

That said, the length of outpatient drug and alcohol rehab will change significantly from a few weeks to about three months. This is because this is the period when most addicts have the highest risk of relapse.

Overall, the time you spend will largely depend on how you are advancing in your recovery, your physical health, and mental stability. As long as you are concentrated on outpatient drug rehab and do not allow any external distractions to stop your abstinence and sobriety, you will succeed in the long term.

We will help you manage your dependency. Our goal is to treat our patients with compassion, dignity and respect in each phase of their treatment experience. When entering our program, you will be assigned to a counselor with specialized training in the treatment of opioid dependency. Your counselor works with you to develop a treatment plan that meets your needs, with the goal of improving your quality of life and overcoming your dependency on opioids. Your counselor will utilize the most current research in providing treatment services. During treatment, you will meet with your counselor on a regular schedule, take methadone on a daily basis, and develop recovery skills that will facilitate your ability to manage your relapse triggers and live a drug-free lifestyle. Your treatment will be guided by an individualized treatment plan, which is reviewed and updated every ninety (90) days.
