List of Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab Programs In Cypress, Illinois

How Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Rehab Works in Cypress, Illinois

If you have been struggling with an extreme substance use disorder and addiction, outpatient alcohol and drug rehab might not prove suitable for you. Before you look for treatment for your addiction, you must first undergo detox to rid your body completely of the substances you were abusing.

After the detox stage, the outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation program will start the official work of therapy and recovery. In fact, these programs work best if you have already completed another form of treatment - such as a participating in an inpatient substance abuse treatment facility. You should also be deemed medically stable enough that you can comfortably pursue treatment and recovery with minimal supervision.

When you enter into an outpatient drug and alcohol treatment facility in Cypress, the following services will be provided every week:

  • Family counseling
  • Group counseling and individual meetings for support and encouragement
  • Individual therapy and counseling
  • Medication management, which might be required if you have a co-occurring disorder or have been diagnosed with polysubstance addiction
  • Nutritional coaching
  • One on one therapy sessions with licensed treatment counselors
  • Recreational therapy
  • Relapse Prevention Skills
  • Sober living housing, where required

Since outpatient treatment does not require that you live inside the facility, it means that you may need to dedicate yourself to sobriety so that the program proves fruitful in the long run. You should also desire sobriety and abstain from drugs without any supervision or assistance.

As long as your living situation and environment is conducive to your recovery, you might find that outpatient drug and alcohol treatment is the best option. This is because you will receive support and assistance at home so that you can carry on focusing on beating your addiction - with none of the temptations you may have run into in the past.
