Texas Tech Univ Health Sciences Center is dedicated to assisting any person with a drug or alcohol abuse disorder in the Pep area find full recovery. It offers several programs - such as outpatient substance abuse treatment services, inpatient rehabs, short term drug rehab programs, long term drug treatment, outpatient detox programs and others - in keeping with its philosophy of the addiction treatment and rehab modalities that work in recovery. This drug and alcohol treatment program also believes that clients need individual treatment to be able to maintain their sobriety.
As such, Texas Tech Univ Health Sciences Center has specialized in 12-step facilitation approach, contingency management/motivational incentive, rational emotive behavioral therapy, activity therapy, cognitive/behavior therapy, group therapy and more. Similarly, it accepts clients who are clients with HIV/AIDS, suicide prevention services, substance abuse education, treatment for spanish-speaking clients, social skills development, active duty military, and others. This addiction treatment facility uses treatment modalities that can assist patients to maintain sobriety and abstinence from the substances abused in the past.
