West Texas VA Healthcare Services has also specialized in trauma therapy, group therapy, brief intervention approach, activity therapy, cognitive/behavior therapy, trauma-related counseling, and others - as well as many other treatment modalities such as co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, persons with serious mental illness, residential beds for client's children, housing services, child care for clients children, legal advocacy, and more.
Additionally, West Texas VA Healthcare Services has programs such as outpatient individual counseling, long term rehab programs, short term drug treatment, outpatient detox facilities, inpatient drug rehab programs for clients with addictions to alcohol and drugs. The drug and alcohol rehabilitation program uses treatment methods that can provide lasting and permanent stability to anyone with a substance abuse disorder. Finally, West Texas VA Healthcare Services accepts clients with different types of payment methods - including private health insurance, private pay, military insurance, sliding fee scale, state corrections or juvenile justice funds, county or local government funds and others.
