Amarillo VA Healthcare System has been offering recovery care and rehabilitation services to the residents of Boys Ranch, Texas and those living within the surrounding communities. Today, Amarillo VA Healthcare System provides services like activity therapy, vocational rehabilitation services, brief intervention approach, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, dialectical behavior therapy and others in line with its philosophy of following rehabilitation treatments that work best to help addicts achieve sobriety.
This drug and alcohol treatment facility also believes that individual care for each client is the best way to provide them with the best form of treatment. Services are available in the following settings - outpatient individual counseling, short term drug addiction treatment, inpatient drug and alcohol rehab facilities, long term rehab facilities, outpatient detox programs and others.
It also believes that an aftercare program is integral in promoting recovery in the long term. Lastly, Amarillo VA Healthcare System accepts private medical insurance, cash or self-payment, military insurance, sliding fee scale, state corrections or juvenile justice funds, state education funds and others as payment forms.
