STAR Council is dedicated to helping the residents of Alvarado, Texas and the surrounding areas to find full recovery after a period of struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. STAR Council provides a wide range of services in line with their philosophy of treatments that work - including short term rehab programs, outpatient hospital programs, long term drug rehab facilities, inpatient treatment programs, outpatient detoxification programs and others.
STAR Council also feels that it is important that every person gets uniquely tailored treatment to ensure their recovery. This is why it is specialized in a wide variety of treatment modalities, including relapse prevention, group therapy, trauma-related counseling, dialectical behavior therapy, couple/family therapy, anger management and others. In addition, STAR Council is specialized in child care for clients children, programs for the hearing impaired, substance abuse education, self-help groups, veterans, co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, as well as other special programs. In general, the treatment methods that this drug and alcohol treatment program uses can provide the level of stability that is as permanent as it is lasting.
Lastly, STAR Council accepts private insurance, private pay, sliding fee scale, medicaid, medicare, other state funds, county or local government funds and more.
