Resources for Human Development has been providing ongoing recovery care and rehabilitation services to the residents of Shippingport and those living within the surrounding communities. Today, Resources for Human Development provides services like trauma-related counseling, cognitive/behavior therapy, group therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, substance abuse counseling approach, rational emotive behavioral therapy and others in line with its philosophy of following rehab treatments that work best to help clients achieve recovery.
This alcohol and drug rehab also thinks that the way to get the best result for the client is to offer individual care. Services are available in the following settings - inpatient detox facilities, outpatient substance abuse treatment services, long term addiction treatment programs, short term addiction treatment facilities, inpatient addiction treatment programs and others.
It also believes that an aftercare program is integral in promoting recovery in the long term. Lastly, Resources for Human Development accepts private pay, private medical insurance, payment assistance, sliding fee scale, state welfare or child and family services funds, access to recovery (atr) voucher and others as payment forms.
