List of Short Term Drug and Alcohol Treatment Programs In Boonville, North Carolina

Understanding Short Term Drug Rehab in Boonville, North Carolina

Short term drug and alcohol treatment is among the effective forms of addiction treatment. In particular, it can prove beneficial for individuals in Boonville who cannot participate in a long-term treatment program.

However, there are a few things you should consider while choosing the rehab center you are thinking about attending. The three main factors include cost, success rates/effectiveness, and time.

Whereas no universal treatment method will work for everyone, you will have a few treatment options to pick from dependent on your particular requirements and desires. One of these options is short term drug rehab.

In most instances, short term rehabilitation will require that you live within the recovery center for a few weeks. These facilities are similar to long-term treatment programs except they are quite a bit shorter yet at the same time ensuring that you receive the support, attention, and monitoring to make sure you stay sober.

Specifically, short term rehab will range in length from 14 days to about 6 weeks. During this time, you may receive individual and group therapy and counseling while you also continue discovering effective life skills and recovery tools that will allow you to deal with any tempting situation you may experience rather than getting high or drunk.

In most cases, short term addiction treatment in Boonville, NC. will start with detoxification. The length of this program will largely depend on the dose and frequency of your drug or alcohol use as well as the length of time you have been abusing drugs or alcohol.

After you complete detox, the short term rehabilitation program will use other forms of treatment tailored to your individual requirements and preferences. For example, the program may use 12-step meetings and group counseling to allow you to take advantage of peer support. These treatments may help hold you accountable as you work through your addiction.

Other forms of treatment that might be available through short term rehabilitation include:

  • Acupuncture
  • Art therapy
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Group counseling
  • Individual counseling
  • Medication
  • Nature therapy
  • Treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions like anxiety and depression
  • Yoga

These treatment methods can be provided in short term drug rehab to help modify your behavior, deter you from continued drug use, and show you ways to make positive choices so that you do not relapse. You might also learn new coping methods and help you to reduce anxiety, so you do not feel you have to resort to drugs.
