Friends of Alcoholics has long been dedicated to helping individuals recovery after a period of substance abuse. It has been doing this within Shaw and in the surrounding communities for many years now. Friends of Alcoholics offers services like anger management, group therapy, contingency management/motivational incentive, activity therapy, trauma-related counseling, dialectical behavior therapy - which are all representative of their rehabilitation and treatment philosophies. In addition, Friends of Alcoholics believes that clients need individual focus and treatment for them to find full recovery treatment. This is why it provides several programs, like treatment for spanish-speaking clients, seniors or older adults, programs for the hearing impaired, residential beds for client's children, veterans, clients with HIV/AIDS - among other services listed in the following sections.
Friends of Alcoholics offers long term drug rehab centers, short term drug and alcohol rehab facilities, detox programs, outpatient substance abuse counseling, inpatient drug rehab centers and others. Further, Friends of Alcoholics has aftercare plans that are useful in helping clients after they check out of rehab. This drug and alcohol rehab center also uses treatment methods that can help you create both lasting and permanent stability.
Finally, Friends of Alcoholics accepts private health insurance, cash or self-payment, payment assistance, medicaid, medicare, state corrections or juvenile justice funds, state welfare or child and family services funds, as well as others.
