Region I Mental Health Center has long been dedicated to assisting individuals recovery after a period of abusing drugs and alcohol. It has been doing this within Shaw and in the surrounding communities for many years now. Today, Region I Mental Health Center provides services like cognitive/behavior therapy, 12-step facilitation approach, relapse prevention, rational emotive behavioral therapy, group therapy, individual psychotherapy - which are all in line with their philosophy of the treatments and rehabilitation programs that work. In addition to, Region I Mental Health Center believes that clients need individual focus and treatment for them to find full recovery treatment. This is why it offers various programs, like domestic violence, programs for the hearing impaired, active duty military, persons with serious mental illness, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, veterans - among other services listed in the following sections.
Region I Mental Health Center offers inpatient drug rehab programs, outpatient detoxification centers, outpatient day treatment, long term drug rehab facilities, short term drug abuse treatment and others. Further, Region I Mental Health Center has relapse prevention programs that are useful in helping clients after they check out of rehab. This alcohol and drug treatment program also uses treatment methods that can help you create both lasting and permanent stability.
