List of Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehabs In Mayflower, Arkansas

Making Short Term Drug Rehab Work in Mayflower, Arkansas

For many people, finishing short term drug rehab means that you need to continue on with aftercare services such as through individual and group counseling. Typically, recovery from addiction is a long-term commitment. This means that you might want to continue with your treatment in other settings for a while - depending on how confident you are in your sobriety, your determination, and your health.

As such, the step-down method after completing a short term rehab program will include additional methods of recovery, including but not limited to:

  • Halfway houses
  • Intensive outpatient programs (IOP)
  • Outpatient treatments
  • Partial hospitalization programs (PHP)
  • Sober living homes
  • Support groups

In fact, even after you have finished a short term rehabilitation facility and have began reintegrating into a new healthy way of life, you may still need continued support and aftercare services. You might discover these in group settings, such as by going to 12-step support group meetings, or in an individual atmosphere like one on one counseling & therapy or outpatient therapy.

In general, the longer you stay committed to the treatment protocol, the better your chances of recovery will be.

While you strive for abstinence and balance in your life, you will want to take the time to find a good short term substance abuse treatment program in Mayflower in accordance with your exact needs and preferences.

When trying to find a short term treatment facility you should consider the following factors:

  • The cost of treatment
  • The type and severity of your addiction
  • If the facility accepts insurance
  • The location of the facility
  • The length of the treatment programs
  • If you are suffering from any co-occurring physical and mental health disorders
  • The length of the treatment programs

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock.
