List of Long Term Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Programs In Mayflower, Arkansas

Who Succeeds in Long Term Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation in Mayflower, Arkansas?

Although long term alcohol and drug treatment is now linked to facilities in Mayflower that provide genuine help in drug and alcohol addiction treatment, some individuals do not like these programs and may not do well in them.

In fact, recent studies show that the dropout rate for long term rehabilitation facility is much higher than that from short-term drug and alcohol addiction treatment - with more than 31% of all enrolled patients giving up on treatment.

In many instances, these recovering addicted individuals drop out due to the fact that they feel uncomfortable, want to return home, feel that they should continue focusing on their work and providing for their families, or due to the fact that they lack the finances to continue receiving rehabilitation.

A Journal of Offender Rehabilitation study, however, indicated that addicted individuals who are highly motivated to complete their drug addiction rehab program are more likely to succeed through long term drug treatment as well as those who are forced into one of these facilities by the law.

You might also keep in mind that most long-term drug and alcohol rehab facilities have many rules and regulations that you need to abide by on a daily basis. As you get your strength back and experience an improvement in your disorder, these rules might begin to be a burden. At this point, you might think that you no longer require the need for support group meetings on daily. You may also not want to abide by the curfews set by the facility.

However, you need to remember that these rules and regulations are in place for a good purpose and not just as punishment. Therefore, the only way to improve the gains you are making in drug addiction recovery is by abiding by them.

Overall, Mayflower, AR. long term alcohol and drug treatment is among the best types of treatment for addiction. Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
