Tomah VA Medical Center is dedicated to helping any person with a drug or alcohol abuse disorder in Wonewoc and its surrounding areas find complete recovery. It provides several services - such as long term treatment facilities, outpatient counseling, inpatient drug and alcohol rehabs, short term addiction treatment facilities, inpatient detox facilities and others - in keeping with its philosophy of the recovery treatment and rehabilitation modalities that are effective in recovery. This addiction treatment center also believes that people require individual care and treatment to be able to maintain their sobriety.
As such, Tomah VA Medical Center specializes in substance abuse counseling approach, contingency management/motivational incentive, matrix model, behavior modification, cognitive/behavior therapy, vocational rehabilitation services and more. At the same time, it accepts patients who are persons with eating disorders, housing services, seniors or older adults, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, substance abuse education, domestic violence, and others.
