Tomah VA Medical Center provides recovery treatment and rehabilitation services such as intensive outpatient treatment, inpatient rehab centers, short term drug addiction treatment, inpatient detoxification centers, long term drug rehab centers, and others to clients living in the local community so that they overcome their alcohol and drug abuse issues and find full sobriety. It has services - such as trauma-related counseling, activity therapy, contingency management/motivational incentive, cognitive/behavior therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, substance abuse counseling approach, and others - which follow its philosophy of the programs that work most effectively. This is because Tomah VA Medical Center knows that full sobriety can only be achieved through highly individualized and personalized care.
In addition, the addiction treatment center specializes in many other programs - like seniors or older adults, transgender or (LGBT) clients, housing services, veterans, substance abuse education, active duty military and more - as well as many other treatment methods listed below. Further, this drug and alcohol rehabilitation program has aftercare programs that work in line with its treatment methods to make sure that clients maintain permanent, full, and lasting sobriety, stability, and abstinence from drugs and alcohol.
