Tomah VA Medical Center has made a name for itself by dedicating its recovery services to the individuals who struggle with alcohol and drug abuse disorders in the local community.
Programs are offered on an individual basis to ensure people achieve full recovery in the long term. Tomah VA Medical Center has also specialized in contingency management/motivational incentive, vocational rehabilitation services, trauma-related counseling, anger management, trauma therapy, individual psychotherapy, and others - as well as other treatment methods such as seniors or older adults, veterans, clients referred from the court/judicial system, aftercare/continuing care, substance abuse education, clients with HIV/AIDS, and more.
Additionally, Tomah VA Medical Center has programs such as inpatient detoxification facilities, long term drug abuse treatment, outpatient substance abuse counseling, short term addiction treatment programs, inpatient drug and alcohol rehab programs for clients with addictions to alcohol and drugs. The addiction treatment center uses treatment methods that can provide lasting and permanent stability to any person with a drug and alcohol abuse issue. Finally, Tomah VA Medical Center accepts clients with different kinds of payment methods - including cash or self-payment, private medical insurance, sliding fee scale, military insurance, other state funds, access to recovery (atr) voucher and others.
