Tomah VA Medical Center is dedicated to helping anyone with an alcohol or drug use problem in the local community find full recovery. It provides several services - such as long term addiction treatment facilities, inpatient detox programs, short term rehab programs, outpatient individual counseling, inpatient treatment centers and others - in line with its philosophy of the recovery care and rehab methods that work in recovery. This addiction treatment center also believes that people require individual treatment and care to be able to stop abusing drugs and alcohol.
As such, Tomah VA Medical Center specializes in activity therapy, trauma-related counseling, dialectical behavior therapy, relapse prevention, group therapy, individual psychotherapy and more. Similarly, it accepts clients who are domestic violence, substance abuse education, residential beds for client's children, social skills development, suicide prevention services, co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, and others.
