Tomah VA Medical Center is dedicated to helping anyone with an alcohol or drug use problem in the local community find full recovery. It provides several programs - such as outpatient substance abuse counseling, short term drug addiction treatment, long term drug rehab facilities, inpatient rehab centers, detox facilities and others - in line with its belief of the addiction treatment and rehab modalities that work in recovery. This alcohol and drug rehab also believes that clients need individual care and treatment to be able to maintain their sobriety.
As such, Tomah VA Medical Center has specialized in cognitive/behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, group therapy, dual diagnosis drug rehab, cognitive/behavior therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy and more. Similarly, it accepts clients who are aftercare/continuing care, clients referred from the court/judicial system, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, suicide prevention services, child care for clients children, persons with serious mental illness, and others. This alcohol and drug rehabilitation program uses care modalities that can help patients to achieve lasting and permanent sobriety from the substances abused in the past.
