Region I Mental Health Center has long been dedicated to helping individuals recovery after a period of drug and alcohol addiction. It has been doing this within Mound Bayou and in the surrounding areas for many years now. Today, Region I Mental Health Center provides services like motivational interviewing, rational emotive behavioral therapy, relapse prevention, contingency management/motivational incentive, trauma therapy, group therapy - which are all in line with their philosophy of the treatments and rehabilitation programs that work. In addition, Region I Mental Health Center believes that clients need unique and individualized treatment approaches to achieve lasting recovery. This is why it offers several programs, like social skills development, domestic violence, aftercare/continuing care, child care for clients children, substance abuse education, housing services - among other services listed in the following sections.
In the same way, Region I Mental Health Center offers outpatient substance abuse counseling, long term treatment centers, short term rehabs, inpatient detoxification facilities, inpatient drug treatment and others. Region I Mental Health Center has continued recovery programs that are useful in helping clients after they complete treatment.
