Region IV MH/MR is committed to helping any person with an alcohol or drug abuse problem in the local community find complete recovery. It offers several programs - such as inpatient detoxification centers, outpatient individual counseling, long term addiction treatment centers, short term drug rehab programs, inpatient drug abuse treatment and others - in line with its belief of the addiction treatment and rehab methods that work in recovery. This alcohol and drug treatment program also believes that people need individual treatment to be able to maintain their sobriety.
As such, Region IV MH/MR has specialized in activity therapy, relapse prevention, contingency management/motivational incentive, substance abuse counseling approach, couple/family therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and more. Similarly, it accepts clients who are active duty military, persons with post-traumatic stress disorder, persons with eating disorders, self-help groups, programs for the hearing impaired, aftercare/continuing care, and others. This drug and alcohol rehabilitation program uses treatment methods that can help clients to maintain sobriety from the substances of abuse that they have used in the past.
In terms of payment, clients in Region IV MH/MR can pay for services using cash or self-payment, private health insurance, sliding fee scale, payment assistance, county or local government funds, state corrections or juvenile justice funds and others.
