SCCCMH/South is known for dedicating its addiction services to the individuals who struggle with substance use issues in East China, Michigan and within the surrounding neighborhoods.
Services are provided on an individualized basis to make sure people find full recovery in the long term. SCCCMH/South also specializes in trauma-related counseling, anger management, couple/family therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, behavior modification, 12-step facilitation approach, and others - as well as other treatment modalities such as child care for clients children, transgender or (LGBT) clients, veterans, housing services, self-help groups, persons with serious mental illness, and more.
Additionally, SCCCMH/South has programs such as outpatient substance abuse counseling, inpatient treatment programs, inpatient detoxification centers, long term treatment centers, short term drug rehab centers for clients with addictions to drugs and alcohol. The alcohol and drug treatment program uses treatment methods that can provide permanent stability to anyone with an alcohol and drug abuse problem. Finally, SCCCMH/South accepts clients with different types of payment methods - including private insurance, cash or self-payment, medicaid, medicare, sliding fee scale, state welfare or child and family services funds, other state funds and others.
