Penobscot Nation Counseling Services is dedicated to helping any person with a drug or alcohol abuse issue in the local community find full recovery. It provides several services - such as short term drug rehab programs, inpatient drug rehab programs, outpatient substance abuse treatment services, detox programs, long term treatment facilities and others - in keeping with its belief of the addiction care and rehabilitation modalities that are effective in recovery. This alcohol and drug rehab center also believes that clients require individual treatment and care to be able to maintain their sobriety.
As such, Penobscot Nation Counseling Services has specialized in dual diagnosis drug rehab, rational emotive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, group therapy, contingency management/motivational incentive, trauma-related counseling and more. Similarly, it accepts patients who are treatment for spanish-speaking clients, transgender or (LGBT) clients, clients with HIV/AIDS, programs for the hearing impaired, housing services, self-help groups, and others.
