List of Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Programs In West Bend, Iowa

How Outpatient Drug Treatment Works in West Bend, Iowa

If you have been struggling with a severe substance use disorder and addiction, outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation may not prove to be enough for you. Before you look for treatment for your addiction, you must first undergo detoxification to rid your body completely of the substances you were abusing.

After the detox stage, the outpatient addiction treatment center will begin the official work of therapy and recovery. In fact, these programs work better if you have already completed another form of rehab - such as a staying in an inpatient alcohol and drug rehab program. You should also be considered medically stable enough that you can comfortably pursue treatment and recovery with minimal supervision.

When you begin an outpatient addiction treatment in West Bend, the following services will be provided every week:

  • Family counseling
  • Group therapy and support meetings
  • One-on-one counseling
  • Prescribed medication management for poly-substance addiction diagnoses
  • Diet Management
  • Individual counseling with addiction treatment specialists
  • Exercise related therapy
  • Relapse prevention
  • Sober living housing, where required

Since outpatient treatment does not expect that you live inside the center, it means that you may need to dedicate yourself to sobriety so that the program proves fruitful in the long run. You should also strive for sobriety and abstain from drugs without any monitoring or assistance.

As long as your environment is conducive to your recovery, you might find that outpatient alcohol and drug rehab is the best option. This is because you will get support and care at home so that you can continue focusing on overcoming your addiction - with none of the pitfalls you might have run into in the past.
