List of Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehabs In Sorrento, Florida

Continued Care Following Short Term Drug and Alcohol Treatment in Sorrento, Florida

One of the benefits you stand to gain when you finish short term rehab is that you can later ease into long-term rehab. As such, this form of rehabilitation is suggested for people in Sorrento who have relapsed or are at risk of relapse because they can surround themselves in another sober setting and continue effectively treating their addiction.

After you finish and leave a rehabilitation program, it is possible that you will find yourself near the same surroundings where you previously used drugs or alcohol prior to going to treatment. This is because the same triggers - people, places, and things - that could cause you to relapse are still there.

Considering it can be particularly difficult to shift back into a new sober life after completing long-term rehabilitation where you were able to focus on healing and therapy for a few months, you might feel that attending short term addiction treatment in Sorrento, FL. can potentially help you maintain your newly acquired sobriety, resolve, and attitude against substance abuse and addiction.

Throughout short term treatment, therefore, you will work on how to lead a more productive lifestyle regardless of any challenging situations you may experience. The program will also teach you how to think and act differently - which could be extremely beneficial in making sure that you can handle any troubles you encounter.

Other components of substance abuse rehabilitation and continued care include:

  • How to recognize triggers and avoid them
  • How to surround yourself with support through community groups, outpatient treatment, and stays at sober living facilities
  • How to create a more favorable environment at home and work

Last but not least, short term rehabilitation will typically have a vast variety of treatment components that can help you utilize new skills in your life and keep on sticking to the new philosophies and morals you have learned after you check out of the rehabilitation program.
