Eglin Community Based is dedicated to helping the community of Miramar Beach and the surrounding areas to recovering from the problems and issues that arrive from drug an/or alcohol abuse. As such, Eglin Community Based provides a wide variety of services in line with their belief of treatments that work - including outpatient individual counseling, long term drug and alcohol rehab centers, inpatient drug rehab centers, outpatient detoxification centers, short term rehab facilities and others.
Eglin Community Based also feels that it is crucial that every individual gets specific treatments that are tailored to their needs to help ensure treatment is a success. This is why it is specialized in a wide variety of treatment methods, including anger management, brief intervention approach, group therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive/behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and others. In addition, Eglin Community Based is specialized in domestic violence, persons with serious mental illness, persons with post-traumatic stress disorder, clients with HIV/AIDS, seniors or older adults, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, as well as other special programs.
