List of Short Term Alcohol and Drug Treatment Facilities In Shawnee, Colorado

Making Short Term Drug Treatment Work in Shawnee, Colorado

Typically, completing short term drug treatment means that you want to continue on with aftercare services such as going to group counseling and individualized therapy. Typically, recovery from addiction is a long-term commitment. This means that you may want to continue with your treatment in other settings for a while - depending on your health, strength, and level of abstinence and recovery.

Therefore, the step-down method after attending a short term drug treatment program may consist of additional levels of recovery, including but not limited to:

  • Intensive outpatient programs (IOP)
  • Partial hospitalization programs (PHP)
  • Halfway houses
  • Sober living homes
  • Support groups
  • Outpatient treatments

In fact, even after you have graduated from a short term substance abuse rehab center and have began reintegrating into a new sober way of life, you may still need further support. You might encounter these in group settings, such as by regularly attending 12-step meetings, or in an individualized atmosphere such as one-on-one counseling and outpatient therapy.

Typically, the longer you can stick to treatment and recovery, the better your chances of successful recovery will be.

While you strive for abstinence and balance in your life, you will want to take the time to find a good short term drug rehab center in Shawnee that fits your exact requirements and preferences.

While looking for a short term rehab center, therefore, you should take into account the following factors:

  • If the facility accepts insurance
  • If you are suffering from any co-occurring physical and mental health disorders
  • The cost of treatment
  • The length of the treatment programs
  • The location of the facility
  • The rehab programs provided
  • The type and severity of your addiction

If you are looking for assistance for someone you love but don't know how to begin call 1-877-882-9275 and talk with a registered addiction specialist.
