U of CO Anschutz Medical Campus/ARTS is committed to helping any person with an alcohol or drug abuse problem in the local community find complete recovery. It provides several programs - such as long term addiction treatment programs, outpatient substance abuse counseling, inpatient treatment programs, detoxification centers, short term treatment programs and others - in keeping with its philosophy of the recovery treatment and rehab modalities that are effective in recovery. This drug and alcohol treatment facility also believes that clients need individual treatment and care to be able to maintain their sobriety.
As such, U of CO Anschutz Medical Campus/ARTS has specialized in couple/family therapy, cognitive/behavior therapy, behavior modification, vocational rehabilitation services, substance abuse counseling approach, anger management and more. At the same time, it accepts patients who are clients with HIV/AIDS, social skills development, self-help groups, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, active duty military, persons with serious mental illness, and others.
