List of Short Term Alcohol and Drug Treatment Programs In Kittredge, Colorado

Understanding Short Term Drug Rehabilitation in Kittredge, Colorado

Short term drug rehabilitation is one of the more effective forms of addiction rehab. That is, it can be helpful for clients in Kittredge who cannot attend a long-term rehab program.

Although, there are numerous things you should consider when deciding on the rehabilitation facility you are thinking about attending. The three major factors encompass cost, success rates/effectiveness, and program duration.

Since no universal treatment plan will work for everyone, you will have several treatment options to choose from depending on your specific needs and preferences. One of these options is short term drug and alcohol treatment.

In many instances, short term rehab will require that you live within the treatment program for a few weeks. These facilities are somewhat comparable to long-term rehab programs except they last quite a bit shorter in duration yet at the same time ensuring that you receive the attention, support, and supervision that will guarantee you do not relapse.

Specifically, short term treatment will vary in duration from 2 - 6 weeks. During this time, you may benefit from individual and group counseling even as you start learning more positive life skills and recovery tools that will allow you to effectively handle any tempting situation you may run into as opposed to reaching for drugs or alcohol.

Typically, short term drug rehab in Kittredge, CO. will begin with medical detox. The program duration will largely depend on the severity of your substance abuse as well as the length of time you have been abusing drugs or alcohol.

After you finish detox, the short term treatment program will use other forms of treatment depending on your particular requirements and preferences. For example, treatment may use 12-step meetings and group counseling to allow you to receive benefits from peer support. These treatments may help hold you accountable as you try to overcome your addiction.

Other treatment approaches that might be offered through short term treatment include:

  • Art therapy
  • Acupuncture
  • Group counseling
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Individual counseling
  • Nature therapy
  • Medication
  • Yoga
  • Treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions like anxiety and depression

All these recovery techniques may be offered to help modify your behavior, deter you from continued substance abuse, and show you how to make healthier choices so that you don't fall back into substance abuse. You might also discover helpful coping strategies and improve your relaxation, so you do not feel you have to abuse drugs or alcohol.
