List of Long Term Drug and Alcohol Rehab Centers In Kittredge, Colorado

Long Term Drug Treatment and Mental Health Care in Kittredge, Colorado

Even after completing a long-term drug and alcohol drug addiction program in Kittredge, you might still be required to continue with your treatment. However, some individuals may start wondering why they would be required to spend so long in such a program.

For example they may assume that it would be more effective to complete short-term rehab before checking into an intensive outpatient program. Still, even though some addicted individuals have found success through this type of rehab, there are individuals who would gain more by spending several months in an inpatient program. These include addicts with less robust recovery skills as well as those who might require additional assistance and support to overcome their addiction.

These addicts include those who:

  • Are utterly unable to function in their lives without abusing their drugs and alcohol of choice
  • Come from unsafe areas and homes that could tempt them to start using again
  • Have co-occurring mental health conditions
  • Begin using intoxicating and mind-altering substances from an early age
  • Finished drug addiction rehab but relapse to their previous using habits

In many cases, long term alcohol and drug rehabilitation may also be accompanied by extended care and psychological rehabilitation. This is because the mental illnesses tend to co-occur with drug and alcohol addiction - by leading individuals to abuse alcohol and drugs or arising from substance abuse - often need long term management and treatment.

Through a Kittredge, CO. long-term program, therefore, you will get all the care and help you need to overcome both your drug and alcohol abuse and any co-occurring psychological disorder that you are suffering from.

If you opt for short-term treatment, you may discover that you increasingly isolate yourself, neglect your physical health and wellness, and stop taking the medications that physicians recommended to you. This is why long-term drug and alcohol rehabilitation makes sense for individuals with co-occurring disorders and who need more intensive care.
