Benefits of Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation in Quitman, Arkansas

Drug and alcohol addiction to substances such as heroin, crystal meth, hard liquor, cocaine or prescription drugs like norco, rohypnol or librium, when left untreated, can result in a person losing everything that is good in their life such as their kids, jobs, health and even shelter. Drug addiction and alcoholism are treatable issues. In fact, individuals in Quitman, AR recover everyday and achieve long term sobriety. In addition to getting clean and sober, individuals that enter inpatient addiction treatment centers also learn how to mend relationships and how to get their lives back in order and how they can keep it that way. Because of the poor mental and physical condition that addiction produces in an individual, it can be difficult to think clearly enough to make the logical choice to enter and start an inpatient addiction treatment center.

One of the obstacles to beginning treatment can be the fear of the withdrawal process when quitting drugs or alcohol. However, there is a successful solution for the problem of withdrawal that makes it safe for people to come off of drugs or alcohol. That solution is detoxification. Safely taking individuals off drugs or alcohol through a medical detox process is the beginning step of an inpatient addiction treatment program. After detox, there are many important steps to deal with the psychological and physical problems that accompany alcohol and drug addiction. Completing an inpatient drug and alcohol rehab program in Quitman is worth the benefits that can last the rest of your life.

If you have attempted to help a loved one on your own and have failed, here are some of the advantages of getting treatment for your loved one's alcohol and/or drug addiction.

  • Removing them from the the place where they are using drugs or alcohol.
  • Getting them away from their drug dealers and associates.
  • If they are killing themselves because of their addiction, they will find solace in rehabilitation.
  • Putting them into a drug free, safe environment.
  • The danger that goes along with substance abuse will cease for everyone involved once the individual is in treatment
  • The price of substance abuse is usually far greater than the cost of treatment.
  • The individual will receive around the clock care that includes medical assistance during the withdrawal process.
  • The person will receive the assistance that they need to get their life back on track.
  • The person will learn skills to repair the damage that they have done to themselves and their loved one.
  • The individual will learn the life and coping skills they will need to recover.
  • They will learn who they really are again and see the goodness in themselves.
  • Physical and psychological therapy can provide enduring benefits for a lasting recovery.
  • They will learn to spot drug use triggers and how to beat them rather than relapsing.
  • The person will learn about relapse prevention skills, so that they can maintain their sobriety when they return home from rehab.
  • In short, a Drug Rehab Facility can save your loved one's life and give you back the person you know and love.

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
