List of Inpatient Alcohol and Drug Treatment Facilities In Newark, Arkansas

Differences in Inpatient Alcohol and Drug Rehab in Newark, Arkansas

Today, different inpatient drug treatment programs vary regarding the outline and execution of their drug and alcohol addiction rehabilitation offerings and services. For example, the length of time you will spend participating in therapy and detoxification will vary from one center to another. Whereas some facilities last close to 9 months or longer, others will be short and take about 30 days.

In the same way, these programs in Newark vary regarding the level of autonomy and freedom you will have while participating in drug and alcohol addiction treatment. Some of the programs are locked down, meaning that you won't be able to leave the program as you address your substance abuse and any co-occurring mental health issues. In such a center, you might not even be able to access the internet or have visitors. Other centers, however, might allow you some leeway to interact with the world outside while still remaining focused on full recovery.

When you select inpatient drug and alcohol treatment, therefore, it is crucial that you examine different programs and choose the one that best suits your needs. Some of the aspects you should look at include:

a) Monetary Policies

Ask the residential center whether they accept insurance, provide financial support, and have a number of payment options.

b) Offerings and Services

You should also look into and find out what the Newark, AR. treatment facility has to offer regarding accommodation, food, recreation, therapy, and other aspects of drug addiction rehab.

As you continue evaluating different inpatient alcohol and drug rehabilitation centers, keep in mind that no given program will work for every addict. To this end, it might be in your best interests to carefully determine what every facility can provide until you get to a center that is best suited to meet your requirements and preferences.

Overall, inpatient alcohol and drug treatment is among the most effective of all types of drug and alcohol addiction rehab protocols. The time you spend in one of these facilities will make sure that you can productively focus on your recovery free from the temptations and triggers that you may encounter if you choose outpatient treatment.

Recovery Centers of Arkansas

North Little Rock, AR. 72114

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
