List of Inpatient Alcohol and Drug Rehabs In Mellwood, Arkansas

Advantages of Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab in Mellwood, Arkansas

Drug and alcohol addiction to substances such as heroin, methamphetamine, alcohol, cocaine or prescription drugs like vicodin, rohypnol or amytal, when left untreated, can result in an individual losing everything that is good in their life such as their children, employment, health and even their house. Drug addiction and alcoholism are treatable issues. In fact, people in Mellwood, AR recover everyday and achieve long term sobriety. In addition to getting clean and sober, individuals that go into inpatient addiction treatment facilities also learn how to mend relationships and how to get their lives back in order and how they can keep it that way. Because of the bad mental and physical condition that addiction produces in a person, it can be very hard to think clearly enough to make the logical choice to find and enroll into an inpatient addiction treatment center.

One of the obstacles to beginning treatment can be the stress of the withdrawal process when quitting drugs or alcohol. However, there is a good resolution for the issue of withdrawal that makes it safe for people to come off of drugs or alcohol. That solution is drug detox. Safely taking individuals off drugs or alcohol with a medical detoxification process is the initial step of an inpatient addiction treatment program. After detox, there are many important steps to handle the mental and physical problems that accompany alcohol and drug addiction. Completing an inpatient drug and alcohol rehab program in Mellwood is worth the benefits that can last the rest of your life.

If you have attempted to assist a loved one by yourself and have been unsuccessful, here are some of the advantages of helping your loved one get in treatment for alcohol and/or drug addiction.

  • The price of addiction is usually far greater than the cost of treatment.
  • The individual will get around the clock care that includes medical assistance during the withdrawal process.
  • They will receive the help and support that they need to get their life back on track.
  • They will learn how to fix the damage that they have done to themselves and their loved one.

  • The person will acquire who they really are again and see the goodness in themselves.
  • Physical and psychological therapy will provide enduring benefits for a lasting recovery.
  • They will learn to see drug use triggers and how to handle them rather than relapsing.

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
