List of Inpatient Alcohol and Drug Rehab Centers In Edgemont, Arkansas

Who Needs Inpatient Drug Rehab in Edgemont, Arkansas?

Inpatient drug rehabilitation programs in Edgemont are suited for many people with substance use disorders. However, they tend to be more effective for addicted individuals who are also struggling with co-occurring mental health conditions. Such patients may require round the clock support and medical oversight - which may not be available in an outpatient center.

In the same way, if you have participated in drug addiction rehabilitation before through an outpatient facility or if you tried inpatient rehabilitation but this wasn't successful, then it is highly likely that you could benefit from a more extended stay in a residential treatment center.

Teens, in specific, also benefit from these programs because they usually have severe mental health conditions co-occurring with their substance use disorders. As such, they might require rehab that addresses both issues before they can recover totally.

Disadvantages of Inpatient Drug Treatment

Inpatient centers are offered in a variety of settings - including but not limited to mental health programs and hospitals. Others are luxurious or executive models and may come with a myriad of amenities and services to make your road to recovery more smooth.

However, you might not benefit from these facilities if:

You feel that you will be separated from your loved ones, friends, social life, and professional responsibilities for too long.

You think that the cost of treatment at an inpatient drug rehab program in Edgemont, AR. is too high for you to afford.

You would first like to try recovering through an outpatient center before you commit to residential addiction rehab.

However, in most cases, inpatient alcohol and drug rehabilitation tends to work successfully and has been proven time and time again to lead to better outcomes overall. This is why it is the most highly recommended type of rehabilitation available for individuals searching for recovery after months or years of intensive substance abuse and drug addiction. As long as you check into such a facility in good time, therefore, it is extremely likely that you will attain sobriety and abstinence faster.

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
