List of Inpatient Addiction Treatment Programs In Des Arc, Arkansas

Understanding Inpatient Drug Rehab in Des Arc, Arkansas

If you have been dealing with drug and alcohol abuse, you might have to search for the right inpatient drug rehab center to deal with your condition. These programs typically offer intensive programs with a number of tools and therapy to empower their patients to conquer their dependence on addictive, mind-altering, and intoxicating substances. Participating in such a Des Arc program, therefore, could make it possible for you to get on the path to total recovery and lead a happy, prosperous, and successful lifestyle.

In addition, inpatient drug and alcohol treatment will make it possible for you to live with others dealing with the same or similar drug and alcohol addictions. In doing so, you will benefit from the assistance, support, and care you require to overcome your condition in a comfortable location without alcohol and drugs.

Around the clock care

In the same way, residential drug facilities - as inpatient treatment is also called - will provide you with around the clock care. Most of these centers have extremely qualified and certified drug addiction rehabilitation experts that can oversee you as you continue living in the center for a given period.

If the facility is inside a hospital, the health professionals on staff can also offer around the clock medical support and monitoring. On the other hand, if it is outside a hospital setting, you may receive intermittent support from on-call medical staff.

12 Step and Non 12 Step Recovery Groups

Most inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs in Des Arc, AR. will mandate that you participate in therapy every day. In some cases, you might also be asked to take part in and participate in 12 step support group meetings. By participating in these meetings, you will receive recovery advice, encouragement, and support from other peers also battling similar drug addictions. You will even get the chance to work through specific, time-tested actions that others have taken to find total recovery.

And finally, the facility might also have alternative non-12 step recovery sessions that abide by similar models of rehab but with a concentrations that is less religious or faith-based.

The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock.
