Alaska Child and Family has made a name for itself by dedicating its recovery services to the people who struggle with drug and alcohol use issues in Whittier, Alaska and within the surrounding neighborhoods.
Programs are offered on an individual basis to make sure clients achieve full recovery in the long term. Alaska Child and Family has also specialized in trauma-related counseling, activity therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma therapy, 12-step facilitation approach, dialectical behavior therapy, and others - as well as many other treatment modalities such as self-help groups, substance abuse education, transgender or (LGBT) clients, co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, social skills development, persons with post-traumatic stress disorder, and more.
Additionally, Alaska Child and Family has programs such as long term drug and alcohol rehabs, inpatient detoxification facilities, inpatient addiction treatment centers, outpatient substance abuse treatment services, short term drug rehab programs for verifiable addictions to alcohol and drugs. The drug and alcohol rehabilitation program uses treatment methods that can provide permanent stability to any person with a substance use disorder. Finally, Alaska Child and Family accepts individuals with different types of payment methods - including private pay, private insurance, sliding fee scale, payment assistance, county or local government funds, access to recovery (atr) voucher and others.
