Alaska Child and Family is known for dedicating its addiction services to the individuals who struggle with substance use disorders in the Whittier area.

Alaska Child and Family has also specialized in relapse prevention, couple/family therapy, trauma therapy, 12-step facilitation approach, motivational interviewing, group therapy, and others - as well as other treatment modalities such as clients referred from the court/judicial system, veterans, housing services, domestic violence, social skills development, suicide prevention services, and more.
Additionally, Alaska Child and Family has programs such as short term drug rehab centers, inpatient drug abuse treatment, outpatient detox programs, long term addiction treatment programs, outpatient counseling for clients with addictions to alcohol and drugs. The drug and alcohol rehab program uses treatment modalities that can provide lasting stability to anyone with an alcohol and drug abuse disorder. Finally, Alaska Child and Family accepts clients with different types of payment methods - including cash or self-payment, private medical insurance, payment assistance, medicare, medicaid, other state funds, state welfare or child and family services funds and others.
