KAR House is known for dedicating its addiction services to the individuals who struggle with substance abuse issues in Coffman Cove, Alaska and within the surrounding neighborhoods.
Services are offered on an individual basis to ensure clients achieve full recovery in the long term. KAR House has also specialized in contingency management/motivational incentive, couple/family therapy, relapse prevention, activity therapy, 12-step facilitation approach, dual diagnosis drug rehab, and others - as well as many other treatment modalities such as suicide prevention services, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, treatment for spanish-speaking clients, persons with eating disorders, social skills development, and more.
Additionally, KAR House has programs such as outpatient substance abuse treatment services, long term treatment centers, detox facilities, inpatient rehab programs, short term treatment facilities for clients with addictions to alcohol and drugs. The drug and alcohol rehab facility uses treatment modalities that can provide lasting and permanent stability to any person with an alcohol and drug abuse disorder. Finally, KAR House accepts clients with different types of payment methods - including private medical insurance, private pay, payment assistance, medicare, medicaid, state education funds, county or local government funds and others.
