CAT 5/Substance Abuse Services is committed to assisting any person with a drug or alcohol use issue in Charles Town and within the surrounding neighborhoods find complete recovery. It offers several services - such as outpatient substance abuse treatment services, inpatient drug and alcohol rehab facilities, long term drug and alcohol rehabs, detoxification programs, short term drug and alcohol rehab programs and others - in keeping with its philosophy of the recovery treatment and rehab modalities that are effective in recovery. This alcohol and drug rehab center also believes that people need individual care to be able to maintain their sobriety.
As such, CAT 5/Substance Abuse Services specializes in relapse prevention, substance abuse counseling approach, brief intervention approach, rational emotive behavioral therapy, contingency management/motivational incentive, cognitive/behavior therapy and more. Similarly, it accepts patients who are programs for the hearing impaired, persons with post-traumatic stress disorder, clients with HIV/AIDS, residential beds for client's children, persons with serious mental illness, transgender or (LGBT) clients, and others. This drug and alcohol treatment facility uses care modalities that can assist clients to maintain abstinence from the substances of abuse that they have used in the past.
In terms of payment, clients in CAT 5/Substance Abuse Services can pay for services using private insurance, private pay, payment assistance, medicaid, medicare, other state funds, state welfare or child and family services funds and others.
