List of Short Term Substance Abuse Treatment Facilities In Woolwine, Virginia

The Cost Of Short Term Drug Treatment in Woolwine, Virginia

Many people struggling with drug addiction usually discover the cost of a rehab program is too expensive. Therefore, they may decide to not receive any treatment - not considering that addiction is typically more expensive in the long run.

Contingent on the method of treatment you decide on, you can be sure that the facility will need you to take care of the rather expensive costs. However, there are reasonably affordable options in Woolwine that you can take advantage of to reduce these costs - including short term drug rehabilitation.

Short term rehabilitation is more affordable than long-term rehab due to the fact that you will only participate in the program for a limited period. Therefore, here you have a less expensive option that you can benefit from to overcome your substance abuse and addiction.

In some cases, you might even find that your health insurance carrier will pay for the cost of rehabilitation if you choose short term drug rehab. However, some insurances have limits on the total amount they may cover - or the entire duration of treatment that they will cover. Still, many short term rehab programs are sufficiently covered by insurance.

Thus, if the cost of drug rehab is a major deciding factor for you, short term rehabilitation may be the ideal solution. As much as you probably want to receive the most effective, most comprehensive form of treatment, your finances might hinder you from choosing more comprehensive options like long term drug and alcohol treatment.

Even with this fairly low cost, short term drug and alcohol rehabilitation might work for you. Yet, the success of the program will largely depend on you as an individual. If your substance abuse has been going on for a long time, it is doubtful that this type of rehabilitation will be successful in the long-run for you. This is because it is better suited for individuals who have only just began showing early symptoms of addiction.

For the most part, short term drug and alcohol rehab is most appropriate for addicts who have not been using drugs for a long time and for those who cannot afford a longer rehab program.

Hope Valley, Inc. was established as a private, non-profit corporation for treatment and care of alcoholics. The impetus for the program came from private citizens in Surry County who wanted to provide people with alcohol problems a way to become productive citizens. At the request of these citizens, Bryant and Marion Bivins came to Dobson, NC from Durham where Mr. Bivins served as Director of the Damascus Home, a home for alcoholics. They opened the first facility, our Men's Division, in 1968. In 1970, a separate facility for women was opened. In 1986, our services were again expanded to serve drug dependent clients.
