Dept of Psych and Behav Medicine is dedicated to helping any person with a drug or alcohol use issue in Redwood, Virginia and within the surrounding neighborhoods find full recovery. It provides several programs - such as short term rehab centers, outpatient detoxification programs, long term addiction treatment programs, outpatient substance abuse counseling, inpatient drug rehab programs and others - in line with its philosophy of the recovery treatment and rehab methods that are effective in recovery. This drug and alcohol treatment program also believes that clients need individual treatment to be able to stop abusing drugs and alcohol.
As such, Dept of Psych and Behav Medicine has specialized in trauma therapy, 12-step facilitation approach, dialectical behavior therapy, anger management, matrix model, substance abuse counseling approach and more. At the same time, it accepts clients who are persons who have experienced sexual abuse, programs for the hearing impaired, active duty military, aftercare/continuing care, domestic violence, residential beds for client's children, and others. This alcohol and drug rehab uses care methods that can assist clients to maintain lasting and permanent abstinence from the substances abused in the past.
