Council on Alcoholism is known for dedicating its addiction services to the individuals who struggle with alcohol and drug use disorders in the local community.

Council on Alcoholism also specializes in group therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, brief intervention approach, couple/family therapy, behavior modification, relapse prevention, and others - as well as other treatment modalities such as treatment for spanish-speaking clients, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, persons with eating disorders, residential beds for client's children, suicide prevention services, housing services, and more.
Additionally, Council on Alcoholism has programs such as short term addiction treatment facilities, outpatient hospital programs, inpatient treatment facilities, inpatient detox centers, long term rehab programs for clients with addictions to drugs and alcohol. The drug and alcohol rehab center uses treatment modalities that can provide lasting and permanent stability to anyone with a substance use issue. Finally, Council on Alcoholism accepts clients with different types of payment methods - including cash or self-payment, private health insurance, sliding fee scale, military insurance, state education funds, state corrections or juvenile justice funds and others.
