Seafarers is dedicated to assisting any person with an alcohol or drug abuse problem in Lancaster and within the surrounding neighborhoods find complete recovery. It provides several services - such as short term rehabs, inpatient detox centers, inpatient drug and alcohol rehab programs, outpatient individual counseling, long term drug and alcohol rehab facilities and others - in keeping with its philosophy of the addiction care and rehabilitation modalities that work in recovery. This alcohol and drug rehab program also believes that people require individual treatment and care to be able to maintain their sobriety.
As such, Seafarers has specialized in motivational interviewing, cognitive/behavior therapy, behavior modification, vocational rehabilitation services, 12-step facilitation approach, trauma-related counseling and more. Similarly, it accepts clients who are veterans, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, persons with eating disorders, suicide prevention services, housing services, treatment for spanish-speaking clients, and others. This alcohol and drug rehabilitation program uses treatment methods that can help clients to achieve sobriety and abstinence from the substances of abuse that they have used in the past.
In terms of payment, clients in Seafarers can pay for services using private pay, private health insurance, military insurance, sliding fee scale, county or local government funds, access to recovery (atr) voucher and others.
