Council on Alcoholism is dedicated to assisting the residents of Huntly and the surrounding areas to recovering from the problems and issues that arrive from drug an/or alcohol abuse. As such, Council on Alcoholism administers a wide collection of services in line with their belief of treatments that work - including outpatient substance abuse treatment services, inpatient rehab centers, inpatient detox programs, long term treatment centers, short term drug rehab centers and others.
Council on Alcoholism also feels that it is crucial that every person gets uniquely tailored treatment to ensure their recovery. This is why it is specialized in a wide variety of treatment modalities, including cognitive/behavior therapy, contingency management/motivational incentive, relapse prevention, vocational rehabilitation services, brief intervention approach, couple/family therapy and others. In addition, Council on Alcoholism is specialized in treatment for spanish-speaking clients, aftercare/continuing care, residential beds for client's children, programs for the hearing impaired, self-help groups, veterans, as well as other special programs. In general, the treatment services that this alcohol and drug rehabilitation program uses aims to provide positive and lasting change for each individual.
